Johnathon Cotton   Customer Service Director

Johnathon Cotton started his career with American Backflow Products in April of 2003. His initial position was receiving clerk and delivery driver.  In October of 2003, he was promoted to Inventory Control where he quickly became proficient at purchasing and warehouse management.  His next opportunity presented itself in March 2005 to move into a customer service position.  It was in this position he learned of his passion to help people.“I really enjoy working with our customers.  It is always a good feeling when you can help a customer with a problem and save the day. We are lucky to have the customers that are loyal and appreciative of the small things we do to help enhance their experience with us.”He was promoted to Customer Service Director in January of 2012.  Johnathon‘s experience within several departments enables him to provide great customer service because of his intimate knowledge of the operations side of the company. His positive attitude and unparalleled work ethic continue to be a driving force for our team.  Johnathon became a University of Florida TREEO Certified Tester in 2005 and enjoys using his expertise to help our customers with technical issues. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and two children, Jacob and Riley. He also enjoys working around the house and spending Saturday’s in the fall watching the University of Alabama and Florida State play football.

Mike Mihalich   Customer Service Specialist

Mike Mihalich started his career with American Backflow in 2014. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, FL and attended Tallahassee Community College. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his three daughters.

Laura Lea Hosey   Customer Service Specialist

Laura Lea started her career at American Backflow Products Company as a Customer Service Specialist in 2014.  She earned an Associates of Science Degree in Business Administration at Tallahassee Community College in 2013.  Laura Lea is an avid horse lover.  A highlight for Laura Lea is the time she spends teaching horseback riding lessons to mentally and physically challenged children.  The favorite part of the job at American Backflow for Laura Lea is the relationships she builds with customers from all parts of the country.  She really enjoys helping customers with technical issues in the field.  Outside of work she enjoys hunting, fishing and working on their family farm with her husband and daughter.

Mike “Mitch” Mitchell   Customer Service Specialist

Mike Mitchell

Mike “Mitch” Mitchell started his career with American Backflow Products in 2015.  He was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio and studied Business at Wilmington College in Ohio.  He moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1992 and is happily married with three daughters.  As well as working for American Backflow Mitch has been with FedEx Express for 28 years.  His hobbies include football, hunting and Nascar.  He has been a football official for all levels from Pop Warner all the way up to Arena football.  He has officiated four high school state championship games in the state of Florida as well.

Jeremey Barrentine   Customer Service Specialist

Jeremy Barrentine started his career with American Backflow Products in 2015.  He was born in Lakeland, Florida but grew up in Tallahassee, Florida.  He graduated from Godby High School.  Jeremy enjoys riding dirt bikes, mud bogging and trail riding his Jeep.  He is part of the Tallahassee Jeep Lovers Off Road Club.  Jeremy also enjoys watching his 15 year old son play baseball and football .

Ammie Bodiford   Customer Service Specialist

Ammie Bodiford started her career with American Backflow Products in 2016 as a Customer Service Specialist.  She is a native of Tallahassee, FL where she graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  In her free time, Ammie enjoys spending time with family, as well as photography, hunting and fishing.

Barron Krick   Customer Service Specialist

Barron Krick started his career with American Backflow Products in 2012.  He began in the receiving department and was promoted to Accounts Payable in 2015.  He graduated from Leon High School in 2011.  His hobbies include playing and listening to all type of music.

Josh Harris   Customer Service Specialist

Josh Harris started his career with American Backflow Products in 2017 as a Customer Service Specialist. He was born and raised in South Florida and moved to Tallahassee to pursue his Accounting degree at Flagler College and is expected to graduate in 2018. His favorite part about working for American Backflow is the quality of care for each customer and the synergy of teamwork. Josh spends his time away from work studying for his CPA license, making memories with his family and attending music festivals.

Ryan Andrews   Customer Service Specialist

Ryan started his career with American Backflow Products in 2017. Ryan finds his passion in helping customers be prepared to maximize their business potential. Originally from Palm Bay, FL, Ryan wanted a change of scenery, and thus transferred to Florida State University in 2014. He graduated with his bachelor’s in Business Management in the spring of 2017. One of Ryan’s most prized accomplishments was learning how to make his own high school class ring. A firm believer of learning new skills, Ryan also has endeavored into several woodworking projects. In effort to maintain an active lifestyle, Ryan enjoys road biking, camping, hammocking, and nearly anything else outdoors.

Nikki Thomas   Customer Service Specialist

Nikki Thomas started her career with American Backflow in 2017. She was raised in Quincy, FL and is happily married with one daughter.  She enjoys doing beauty pagents with her daughter, spending time with her family and helping others.

Jason Gregg   Fire Pump & Control Valve Division Manger

Jason started his career at American Backflow Products in 1997.  He originally started working in the warehouse eventually moving up to counter sales as his product knowledge grew.  He received his backflow testing certification in January of 1998.  He eventually moved into backflow sales helping customers over the phone.  Jason left the company in 2007 to enter into the construction industry and also served some time with a water well company who specialized in drilling large municipal wells throughout the Southeast.

In July of 2014 he returned to help develop a division of American Backflow that would focus on Automatic Control Valve and Fire Pump replacement parts. In his spare time Jason enjoys saltwater fishing, cooking and a little golf from time to time.

John Sloniker   Fire Pump & Control Valve Sales

John Sloniker started his career with America Backflow Products in 2012. He started in our receiving department and was promoted to Purchasing Manager in 2013.  In 2016 he joined our fire pump and control valve division where he enjoys helping customers with their needs. During his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Andrew Inman   Fire Pump & Control Valve Sales

Andrew Inman started his career with American Backflow Products in 2016. He started as a warehouse assistant, and then moved into our calibration department.  In 2017 he moved into our Fire Pump and Control Valve Division where he strives to help our customers with any questions or concerns they might have. He is a Tallahassee native and is currently enrolled in the business program at Florida State University. In his free time he enjoys going to FSU football and baseball games, playing sports, and spending time with his family.

Tom Jones   Purchasing Manager

Tom Jones started his career with American Backflow Products in 2015.  He was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from Robert F. Munroe in 2013. He is currently working on finishing his B.A. degree in Business Administrative. Tom is a University of Florida TREEO certified tester.  He enjoys hanging out with family and friends, riding in the woods, and watching college football.

Jody Bedgood   Accounts Receivable Manager

Jody Bedgood started his career with American Backflow Products in 2014.  He was born in Quincy, Florida.  He has been married for 18 years to his wife, Nicki and has two children, Logan & Madison.  He enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching Nascar, college football and fishing.  He graduated from Greensboro High School in 1995 and spent four years in the Air Force.  Jody enjoys speaking with and getting to know all of our customers.

Matthew Racki   Accounts Payable

Matthew Racki started his career at American Backflow in 2016. Matthew was born in South Carolina, but as a young child lived in Iwakuni, Japan and later moved to Florida in 2004. Matthew started as an accounting assistant and then became the Purchasing Manager. He currently works in the accounting department as Accounts Payable manager. He enjoys kayaking as well as fishing, and loves to spend time with his family.

Nathan Harmon   Pricing Manager

Nathan Harmon started his career with American Backflow Products in 2013. He was born in Tallahassee, FL and is happily married with two children. Most of his free time is spent working toward his B.A. in Accounting but also loves working on cars with friends. At one time he was the proud owner of a 540 HP 98 Z28 SS but had to sell it when his son was born. He has spent the last 10 years in the transportation and logistics field and looks forward to using his technical and mechanical knowledge to help assist you.  Nathan was promoted to Pricing Manager in 2015.

Doug Taylor   National Sales Manager

Doug Taylor started his career with American Backflow Products in 2003 as a Customer Service Specialist and has been the National Sales Manager since 2007. He graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He has been a UF TREEO certified backflow tester since 2005 and is well known among our customers for his technical knowledge and expert guidance. Doug co-authors the “Repair Guys” Article found each month in the Drinking Water and Backflow Prevention Magazine with Mark. Doug has been happily married since 2009 and is the proud father of two daughters.

Jennifer Callaghan   National Sales Representative

Jennifer Callaghan started her career with American Backflow Products in 2016. She was born and raised in South Florida and moved to Tallahassee to obtain her Bachelor’s degree. She graduated from Flagler College in 2016 with a Strategic Communications degree and has since been working in our Marketing and Sales department. Her favorite part about working for American Backflow is being able to learn about customers across the country, help make their lives’ easier and travel out to visit and meet with them. In her spare time, Jennifer studying interior design and traveling to new places with friends and family.

Kyle Conrad   Warehouse Manager

Kyle Conrad started his career with American Backflow Products in 2013.  He came to Tallahassee from Spokane, WA.  Kyle has his B.A. in Business Administration from Flagler College and is married with four children.

Mark Inman   General Manager

Mark Inman started his career with American Backflow Products in 1986 and is the General Manager. He has been a UF TREEO certified backflow tester since 1988 and has held his backflow repair and maintenance certification from TREEO since 1990. When TREEO offered the Advanced Backflow Assembly Tester certification in 2007, Mark was one of the first to get certified. His extensive knowledge and expertise have made him a widely recognized authority in our industry. Mark co-authors the “Repair Guys” article found each month in Drinking Water and Backflow Prevention Magazine and is often asked to speak at industry trade shows and conferences. Despite his busy schedule he enjoys helping customers solve even the most troublesome repair issues. Mark is happily married and enjoys spending time with his family.
